The heroic life began as a personal project. It was a way for one man to figure out how to do something that mattered in life. And the first step was looking at the legendary heroes and asking: how did they do it?
Now, it’s a collaborative project dedicated to helping people live meaningful lives.
The main idea of the heroic life is that regular people can do great things, and that doing so lifts us all up. As a movement, it focuses on giving people the tools they need to do whatever they find most meaningful in life, and to accomplish big things because of it. The heroic life shows you how simply dedicating time to a purpose, an art, or a cause is the first step toward creating real change—and heroism—in the world.
For me personally, this philosophy has led me to become an expert in the science of heroism, to become successful at my own dream of writing, and to radically question what I stand for and how I can make a difference in the world. It’s also been kind of fun.
But that’s just me, and the heroic life is for everybody. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what your dreams are in life—there is a way to do big things, and doing so helps us all.
